Maintenance Technician

Pay Rate : $25-35 / hr
Shift hours : 5am-3 : 30pm Mon-Thurs and Fridays as needed

What’s a typical day as a Maintenance Technician? You’ll be :
- Performing preventative maintenance tasks, ensuring all documentation is completed.
- Repairing malfunctioning equipment using a final task methodology.
- Assisting line and machine operators.
- Providing essential documentation and conducting research for root cause analysis.
- Affirming the maintenance role in the HACCP procedure.
- Assessing and functioning effectively in an ever-changing environment.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you :
- Have mechanical and basic electrical abilities.
- Hold a high school diploma or GED.
- Have demonstrated work experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- Possess technical school training or related experience.
- Have at least (2) two years of experience as a full-time maintenance mechanic or in a related field.
- Can maintain a presence of mind in stressful conditions and adapt to change.
- Have a two-year technical degree in a maintenance-related field. (Preferred)
- Have experience in food-related maintenance, high-speed packaging, welding, and mechanical power transmission. (Preferred)
- Have facility and facility support equipment training or experience.
- Have refrigeration and / or ammonia refrigeration experience or training.(Preferred)
