We are currently in search of a Technical Account Manager (TAM) who brings to the table a rich blend of expertise in Azure Cloud management, advanced security solutions, and robust network practices.

Job Summary :

The TAM at Buchanan Technologies serves as more than just a point of contact; you are a strategic ally to our clients, dedicated to managing their technical requirements and ensuring our services are in perfect alignment with their business goals.

Your proficiency in Azure services, alongside a deep understanding of general security principles,server / host management, and network technologies, will be instrumental in offering technical leadership, support, and tailored solutions that address each customer's unique needs.

Key Responsibilities :

Customer Relationship Management : Establish and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients, gaining an in-depth appreciation of their business strategies, technological hurdles, and objectives.

Technical Mastery : Display a high level of technical expertise in Azure Cloud services, comprehensive network management, and advanced server / host management, including configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting of physical and virtual server environments.

Solution Design and Management : Craft and oversee customer-centric solutions leveraging Azure, ensuring these solutions are both secure and optimally configured for cloud services.

Advanced Technical Support : Serve as the initial point of contact for technical queries, offering sophisticated support and routing more complex issues to the right channels.

Proactive Advisory : Recommend strategies for the effective use of cloud services, with a keen focus on optimizing costs, enhancing security measures, and improving performance.

Strategic Account Planning : Collaborate with clients to formulate and implement strategic account plans that reflect their IT trajectories, prioritizing cloud and security transformations.

Performance Monitoring and Insight Reporting : Monitor client engagement with Azure and other services, delivering comprehensive reports that guide resource allocation and financial planning.

Additional Responsibilities :

Client Advocacy : Act as the primary liaison for all matters relating to Azure Cloud and security within the client's ecosystem, ensuring a single point of accountability for client satisfaction and service improvement.

Issue Resolution and Vendor Coordination : Efficiently generate and oversee support tickets for IT issues, particularly those related to Azure and cloud services.

Change Impact Assessment : Lead the evaluation of significant service modifications, focusing on their implications for cloud services and security.

Leadership in Client Engagements : Direct client meetings, presenting operational insights with an emphasis on cloud service efficacy and security considerations.

Compliance with Service Levels : Maintain rigorous adherence to service level agreements, with a special emphasis on responsiveness and security measures.

Server and Infrastructure Management : Manage and optimize server hardware and virtual environments to ensure high availability and performance.

Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of server systems, both on-premises and in the cloud. Ensure that server setups are aligned with best security practices and comply with industry standards.

Desired Qualifications :

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing technical accounts, with a strong foundation in Azure Cloud services, security practices, and network infrastructure.

Experience in BMC Helix ITSM solutions is a plus, but a deep-seated expertise in Azure, coupled with a broad understanding of security and network management, is paramount.

This role demands someone who is not only technically adept but also possesses the interpersonal skills necessary to build lasting relationships and communicate complex solutions effectively.
