Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Surgical Oncology in Indianapolis

IU Health has an opportunity for an Advanced Practice Provider to join our collaborative and passionate Surgical Oncology team, focusing on Hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) and Endocrine-Mixed Tumor patient population.

The role of the APP will include seeing new patients with benign soft tissue tumors, skin cancer referrals, established and post-operative patients.

Key Responsibilities :

• Key responsibilities include daily clinic sessions, virtual telehealth when clinically appropriate, collaborative partnerships with nurse navigator(s) and surgeon(s) as well as oncology and radiology services.
• See new patients with benign soft tissue tumors, skin cancer referrals, established and post-operative patients.
• Drain removal & staple / suture removal

Qualifications :

• Master's Degree required
• Open to BE / BC AGACNPs, ANPs, FNPs, and PAs
• Ideal candidate will have a clinical background in care of surgical patients and / or oncology patients
• Candidate must possess strong communication and critical thinking skills, while showing compassion.
