About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty : Modified Care Unit Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : 3rd Shift, 12-hour nights, float as needed up to every other weekend, 3x12 hours Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week Experience : Minimum two years of education at an accredited School of Nursing License : Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC Certifications : - American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) Must-Have : - Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice- English proficiency (speak, read, write) Job Description : The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for a primarily adult population.
- Demonstrates competency in delivery of care as per the ANA Standards of Clinical Nursing Practice.- Duties include collecting patient health data, analyzing assessment data, developing a plan of care, and implementing care plans.
- Evaluates patient's progress toward outcomes and revises nursing care plan as appropriate.- Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment.
- Collaborates with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care.- Delegates tasks based on the needs of the patient and skills of the designated caregivers.
- Provides age-appropriate care in a culturally and ethically sensitive manner.- Assists in the training and development of new staff members.
- Participates in continuous professional development and education.
