About The Position
Job Title : ICU Registered Nurse
Night Shift
Location : Ellsworth, ME
We're seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for night shifts in a mixed acuity unit.
Responsibilities :
- Care for diverse patient types including those with Vents, Sepsis, PNA, DKA, Detox, CHF, COPD exacerbation, and surgical complications.
- Occasionally care for pediatric post
- surgery patients.
- Manage patient ratios of 1 : 3, based on acuity.
Qualifications :
- 2+ years of nursing experience, with 1+ year in ICU.
- Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS.
- Willingness to act as Charge RN.
- Proficiency in handling medical equipment and managing insulin and cardiac gtts.
- Ability to read and interpret strips for ICU and MSU.
Support on the Unit :
- Charge nurse, RT, and Hospitalist available 24 / 7.
- Centralized Tele monitoring tech.
Additional Information :
- Charting System : Cerner.
- May float to Med Surg or ED as needed.
- Weekend rotation : Every other; no call required.
- Scrub Color : Any professional color.
- Free Parking available.
