• The Candidate Team shall assist the Customer shepherd multiple IT systems through the Assessment and Accreditation (A&A) processes.
• The Candidate Team shall assist with continuous monitoring of IT systems that are required to sustain accreditation of these systems.
• The Candidate Team shall identify countermeasures to the latest IT threats.
• The Candidate Team shall identify potential exploitation vulnerabilities and propose mitigation approaches for ongoing IT operations.
• The Candidate Team shall perform configurations of security related systems.
• The Candidate Team shall perform Operations and Maintenance (O&M) of security related systems.
• The Candidate Team shall provide system documentation to the system security managers to support A&A efforts.
• The Candidate Team shall guide networking engineering efforts in the hardware, software, and virtual infrastructure domain.
• The Candidate Team shall coordinate engineering projects including performing technical risk assessment, de conflict implementations, and resolve technical questions or conflicts.
• The Candidate Team shall gather performance and utilization metrics from infrastructure components and proactively inform the Customer when defined thresholds are met.
• The Candidate Team shall perform moderately complex network designs using existing technology with limited guidance.
• The Candidate Team shall plan network configurations for integration into the network, using knowledge of the performance characteristics of the systems being added to the network and the specifications for network interfaces to insure effective integration and optimal network performance.
• The Candidate Team shall prepare technical proposals for presentation to engineering review boards to make changes or add new technologies to the network.
• The Candidate Team shall perform moderately complex O&M activities with limited guidance.
• The Candidate Team shall utilize network analysis tools to identify performance problems in the network.
• The Candidate Team shall diagnose network issues and follow troubleshooting procedures for restoring the network to optimal performance levels
• The Candidate Team shall perform routine to moderately complex network upgrades with limited guidance.
• The Candidate Team shall review user requests for upgrades or additions to the network to assess impact on network performance.
• The Candidate Team shall provide advice and guidance on the most practical technical approach to meeting user requirements.

• The Candidate Team shall perform data center management tasks such as physical capacity management, hardware installation and commissioning, inventory, decommissioning and removal, and destruction.

• Demonstrated experience working with TCP IP protocol suite, IP subnets and masking, and routing protocols
• Demonstrated experience coordinating and performing security testing.
• Demonstrated experience developing risk assessment and certification reports.
• Demonstrated experience in cyber security, InfoSec, security engineering, or network engineering.
• Demonstrated experience leading security accreditation efforts for enterprise systems.
• Demonstrated experience monitoring and tracking remediation efforts.
• Demonstrated experience performing cyber threat hunting type activities.
• Demonstrated experience with security engineering and network engineering.
• Demonstrated experience with vulnerability scanning tools.
• Demonstrated experience working in Local Area Network (LAN) environments
• Demonstrated proficiency working in Wide Area Network (WAN) environments
• Demonstrated experience designing, configuring and troubleshooting Routing and Switching systems (Cisco expertise required)
• Demonstrated experience with Routing Protocols to include OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP
