Job Description :
- Performs both x-ray exams and CT scans on outpatients, emergency room patients, as well as inpatients.
- Conducts basic CT scans including angiography.
- Work primarily involves an acute care facility offering long-term care and outpatient services.
- Call required, primarily overnight, with 7 days of call time split among 2.5 staff members.
- Flexibility to float within scope to meet facility needs and assist with x-ray coverage.
- Not open to block scheduling.
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles away from the facility.
- Facility provides housing and a rental vehicle during assignment.
- Housing is typically in 1-bedroom apartments or shared units; no pets allowed.
- Housing availability : not earlier than 72 hours before contract begins and not longer than 24 hours after it ends.
- Vehicles are provided for local use only and not to be taken off-road or beyond a 30-mile radius from the facility.
- Reliable work-related communication devices provided if necessary.
- Includes 40 hours of non-billable orientation.
- Annual modules required, completed pre-start.
- Candidate must be willing to work two out of the three major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.
