ROLE DESCRIPTION

State Farm Insurance agencies operate somewhat like a franchise. We represent State Farm, one of the 50 largest companies in the USA, so we have all the support of being closely connected to the nation's largest, most well-respected insurance leader.

But at the same time, we have all the advantages and comfort of working in a small, local office, so that we are able to develop deep, close relationships within our local Team and with the customers we serve.

Our agency is well-known and well-established in the community, giving you exceptional job security and true opportunity for growth.

It is NOT necessary to have an insurance background, as our training program is excellent!

As a Account Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member, you will successfully market State Farm products that truly help people manage their everyday risks and achieve their dreams.

Your true desire to help people in significant ways, while marketing financial products, could make you an ideal fit for our Team.

You will grow your own career while working one-on-one with our customers, helping them with every kind of insurance and financial need they may have all in a Team environment.

Your proficient knowledge of financial products will reinforce your sales-minded and consultative approach to educating customers on their financial options.

Your analytical precision will make you an invaluable resource to customers and a competitive addition to this successful agency.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
  • Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
  • Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be able to obtain relevant licenses.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Successful track record of meeting sales goals preferred.
