Director of Operations
As a premier global leader in the chemical manufacturing industry, we are experiencing a period of growth. We are seeking a visionary Director of Operations to lead our Greater Olympia, WA site operations and contribute to our continuous success.
The ideal candidate will champion the execution of operational strategies that align with our business objectives and foster a culture of excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
- Leadership Excellence : Lead diverse teams, including Safety, Operations, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain, ensuring cohesive and effective management.
- Strategic Vision : Develop and implement strategic business directions to bolster our growth agenda. Drive organizational alignment with these strategic objectives.
- Safety and Efficiency : Advocate for a superior manufacturing environment by developing and enforcing comprehensive safety programs and operational protocols.
- Operational Oversight : Spearhead operational improvements, setting clear objectives, and ensuring acceptance and execution across departments.
- Financial Acumen : Analyze operational results relative to costs to optimize financial performance and resource allocation.
- Leadership Development : Demonstrate potential for senior leadership roles, showing a capacity for growing responsibilities within our organizational structure.
Qualifications
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience : At least 10 years of senior leadership in chemical, oil&gas or related manufacturing. Experience managing through periods of significant change such as growth or mergers and acquisitions.
- Skills : Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills; adept at managing, mentoring, and motivating teams. Proven success in fostering a positive and dynamic company culture.
- Attributes : Highly organized with a Continuous Improvement / Lean mindset; results-oriented with a strong emphasis on quality and efficiency.
Compensation
Package : Competitive base salary with performance-related bonus and additional incentive compensation.
