EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for IT Project Manager (Scrum / Waterfall / Kanban) in our Hughes Network Systems division.
This position is located at our Germantown, MD office.
Job Responsibilities :
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and identify solutions for complex business problems by using agile scrum, waterfall, or Kanban methodologies.
- Develop and execute project plans and charters for multiple projects using Microsoft Project.
- Coordinate projects for cross functional teams and assist project team with matrix organization.
- Perform launch and rollout of new software, product, and services by using project management tools.
- Facilitate and coordinate information for projects of various disciplines. Report project progress to higher management.
Basic Requirements :
- Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field plus 6 months’ experience in project planning, execution, monitoring and resource balancing OR Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology or a closely related field plus 5 years’ experience in project planning, execution, monitoring and resource balancing.
- Experience must include 6 months in each of the following : Microsoft Project; JIRA; Kanban methodology; Network security project planning;
Agile scrum; MS Suite; and Vendor management.
Will be eligible for discretionary bonus, with funding based on company performance.
