Inventional Radiology Tech 2, Interventional Radiology, $20,000 Bonus, FT, 8:30A-5P
Description
To provide expert technical support by assisting the physician with patient preparation, intra and post-interventional / surgical procedures, management of supplies and devices, physiologic patient monitoring and assisting with direct patient care.
Responsible for safe and effective operation of radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment as well as specialized imaging and technical equipment used for procedures.
Is a patient / family educator, advocate and liaison. Provides education and training to all staff for radiological, fluoroscopic, equipment and supplies related to procedures.
Estimated pay range for this position is $33.58 - $59.57 / hour depending on experience.
Qualifications
Degrees : Bachelors Licenses & Certifications : ARRT Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging ARRT Registered Technologist - Radiography ARRT Registered Technologist - Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography ARRT Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography ARRT Registered Technologist - Cardiac-Interventional Radiography Certified Radiologic Technologist ARRT Registered Technologist - Vascular-Interventional Radiography Basic Life Support Additional Qualifications : May substitute Bachelor s degree in a healthcare related field and 3 years of invasive experience with a minimum of 4 years of total experience, Associates degree and advanced certification : RT(R) CV, VI, CI, CT, or MR.
Current Florida licensed, Radiology Technologists with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist credentials. Advanced specialty certification (VI,CI, CV, MR, or CT) required.
Member of a professional cardiovascular organization (AVIR). Completion of at least (18) CEU s annually (14) CEU s must be CV related).
Minimum Required Experience : 4 years experience required.
