How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
Seeking experienced senior level Instrument and Electrical Specialist to lead maintenance strategy and improvements for the Hydrogen business line.
Support all company safety, health, environmental, and quality programs and policies, and be accountable for the performance of these programs in the plant, I / E department and the maintenance department.
Work with planners to develop work scopes for TAR's and to secure adequate resources to complete preventative, predictive, and planned maintenance activities, primarily focusing on I / E but working collaboratively with the planning team, scheduler, and operations to ensure smooth execution of maintenance activities.
Perform monthly Maximo audits for newly generated corrective work orders and provide sound technical solutions to the site I&E technicians.
Develop and maintain KPIs for maintenance activities to show compliance rates and mean time between failures.
Work with CTE, Reliability Engineers, and planning team to improve job plans and PM's.
Lead all activities associated with Instrumentation for planned plant outages.
Provide plant startup assistance / coverage.
Instill safety in others by being safety-minded; model good safety practices.
Lead open communication amongst all facility technicians in relation to best practices, operational / facility needs, safety issues / concerns, and sharing operational knowledge / expertise.
Assist / Work closely with operations or Plant Manager during exceptional maintenance events.
Conduct acceptance PSSR reviews with operations and maintenance.
Keep accurate records; diligent in documentation, record retention policies / procedures. Determine if immediate maintenance action is required;
document it; report to appropriate personnel.
Be able to perform basic troubleshooting of motors, switchgear, instrumentation, and DCS.
Communicate directly with Purchasing and National Warehouse regarding parts required and inventory levels needed to complete all scheduled Work Orders and TAR PM Orders.
Maintain a high level of service and work performance, and also support and promote a positive and cooperative team environment which fosters creative problem solving and shared learning.
Ensure all labor hours, materials, and necessary notes or job plan changes associated with the work are accurately recorded within CMMS, and work is closed in a timely manner.
Identify critical spares and use the ISR system to secure parts.
Lead a team of I / E technicians during TAR execution.
Are you a MATCH?
2-year technical degree or engineering degree preferred; high school diploma required.
Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
This position is not open for non-immigrant visa sponsorship.
Minimum 8 years I&E experience, plant environment preferred.
Knowledge of the use of a computerized maintenance management system.
Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks & prioritize work.
Ability to maintain, repair, and calibrate analyzers, transmitters, control valves, etc.
Basic understanding of the facility's control system, with the ability to develop detailed understanding.
Thorough knowledge of the operation and safety aspects of the MCC / switchgear.
Basic understanding of the facility's process, with the ability to develop detailed understanding.
Strong verbal & written communication skills.
