About The Position
Job Title : Nuclear Medicine Technician Job Specialty : Nuclear Medicine Technician Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day - 5x8 - 7 : 00 a.
m. - 3 : 30 p.m. (40 Hours) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum 1 year License : Required Certifications : BLS Must-Have : Weekend and weeknight on-call availability Job Description : - Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive materials to help diagnose and treat diseases.
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment with accuracy and precision.- Work diligently with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Follow all safety protocols to protect patients and staff from radiation exposure.- Conduct routine quality assurance checks on imaging equipment.
- Prepare radioactive drugs and administer them to patients, as prescribed.- Document and report findings to the appropriate medical personnel.
- Rotate on-call duties every 3rd weekend and 1-2 nights per week. This position requires a high level of expertise and attention to detail to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
