Maintenance Technician - $32.00 / hr

This is a direct hire position

Integrity Trade Services is seeking an experienced maintenance technician for an automotive manufacturing client. Candidates must have prior maintenance experience.

Responsibilities :

Assesses tooling condition against drawings and identifies if repair is required. Determines an approach, consulting with others and completes the maintenance.

Confirms that repaired tooling functions properly when put back into Production.

Support production in reducing and eliminating equipment / tooling downtime and scrap utilizing good analytical methodologies.

Preventive / Predictive Maintenance and Spare Part Inventory).

• Perform equipment / tooling and facilities preventive maintenance (PM) per schedule provided. Complete all documentation required for PM's.
• Makes recommendations to supervisors and engineering on changes to tooling, processes, operation and equipment to improve productivity and uptime
• Perform repairs as required and document all activities to maintain objective of less than 30 minutes' mean time to repair (MTTR).
• Assist in fabricating and implementing projects, as required.
• Maintain and monitor a healthy and safe work environment utilizing MSDS's for the facility and all company, local, state and federal guidelines.
• Document all activities as required.
• Adhere to all company guidelines for Emergency Evacuation to ensure employee safety.
• Any additional responsibility deemed necessary by management.

Schedule / Shift Details

• 6 : 00am 6 : 00pm Monday Saturday
• 6 : 00pm 6 : 00am Sunday - Friday

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 4 years of experience in Industrial maintenance.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

2) years of Preventative Maintenance experience (seminars, certificates, degree, leading PM teams etc.)

• Abilities to read blueprints / machine schematics
• Competent in pneumatics applications
• Competent in basic electrical applications
• Competent with Lock out Tag out applications
• Working knowledge of tools (Drill Press, Mills, Horizontal / Vertical Saws, Belt Sanders)
• Basic abilities to weld (MIG, ARC, TIG, Stick etc.)
• Able to operate a computer and maintain records of maintenance
• Analytical skills / Detail oriented / manage time and responsibilities independently
• Technical understanding of machine and components.
• Valid driver's license required
