Internal / Family Medicine Physician Opportunity Near BRONX, NY
Job Summary :
We are actively seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine or Family Medicine trained physician to join our healthcare team in the pursuit of delivering high-quality patient care.
Proficiency in bilingual Spanish is highly desired to enhance our ability to serve the diverse community we cater to.
Responsibilities :
- Comprehensive Primary Care :
- Provide a full scope of primary care services, encompassing diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care, and health maintenance.
- Patient Evaluation :
- Review patient's history and perform thorough physical examinations.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide appropriate treatment and patient care.
- Refer patients to specialists as needed.
- Clinical Diagnostics :
- Provide quality clinical diagnostic skills in the delivery of patient care.
- Review all test results and recommend suitable management for the patient, including preventive health recommendations and habits.
- Prescription and Management :
- Prescribe medications and formulate ongoing treatment and disease management plans.
- Relationship-Centered Care :
- Provide relationship-centered care, taking into account the patient's psychosocial and physical needs.
- Documentation and Communication :
- Collect and record patient information, maintaining complete and accurate medical records.
- Communicate effectively with the clinical team to ensure the total delivery of quality care.
- Education and Collaboration :
- Participate in medical staff educational programs and meetings.
Qualifications :
- Medical Degree : Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO), or foreign equivalent.
- Residency : Completion of a three-year postgraduate medical training from a U.S. accredited residency program in Internal Medicine and / or Family Medicine.
- Experience : Open to both experienced and newly trained providers.
- Certification : Board Eligible / Board Certified in Family or Internal Medicine.
- Licensure : Must possess a current, unrestricted New York State license or be eligible for licensure.
- Registration : Must possess active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration.
- Enrollment : Must possess active Medicare / Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enroll.
- Certification : BLS or ACLS strongly preferred.
- Communication Skills : Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Technology Comfort : Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office.
Medical Office Hours of Operation :
- Monday-Wednesday : 8 : 00 AM - 6 : 00 PM
- Thursday : 8 : 00 AM - 8 : 00 PM
- Friday : 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM
