About The Position
Job Title : OR Tech Job Specialty : None Job Duration : 26 weeks Shift : 12 hours, 7 : 00 am - 7 : 30 pm Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : 2+ years experience;
Robotics experience preferred License : Active VA License required Certifications : BLS (must be AHA), CST Must-Have : - Active VA License - BLS Certification from AHA - CST Certification Job Description : - Work with multiple cases including Ortho, Neuro, Maxillofacial, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Colo-Rectal, General, GYN, Robotics, Urology, Spine, Podiatry, Thoracic, and Breast.
- Float to GI / Endo department if needed. - Handle common GI cases such as Upper Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, ERCP, Bronchoscopy, and PEG Placement.
- Work in 9 surgical suites managing 25-35 cases per day. - Utilize the EMR system EPIC for record management. - Hospital provides scrubs for use.
- Attend floor-specific orientation for one week (two weeks for night shifts). - Fulfill on-call responsibilities 5-6 times, including overnight and weekends.
