We have been engaged to find an energetic sales talent for an Outbound Sales - Durham, NC position. Seeking someone with a passion for making cold calls and a hunting mindset for net new sales.

You will proactively carry out the sales process to various customers and sell products and services to businesses located within a specific geographic territory.

Outbound Sales - Durham, NC overview :

  • Work closely and professionally with local Territory Sales Managers to serve customers in the territory.
  • Conduct prospecting calls through means such as reports, corporate marketing lists, referrals, local media, etc.
  • Respond to all incoming leads daily.
  • Follow up with every customer / opportunity to minimize the risk of losing business.
  • Effectively communicate the company's value proposition to customers.
  • Anticipate and overcome objections and ask for the deal.
  • Grow sales of 360 offerings in addition to other potential new initiatives.
  • Proactively communicate ideas for additional 360 offerings to commercial leadership.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with major customers to ensure best value is achieved.
  • Effectively follow KPI goals and objectives, track progress versus goals, and make adjustments if behind on goals.

Outbound Sales - Durham, NC qualifications include :

  • 1+ years of outbound sales, cold calling, and emailing
  • AS or BS degree is preferred but not required
  • Certifications in selling and sales management is ideal
  • Previous successful phone selling skills preferred
  • A consultative, solution-selling approach and experience
  • Experience and success in a highly goal-oriented setting
  • Ability to thrive in a highly dynamic, entrepreneurial, time-sensitive, collaborative environment
  • A positive can-do, will-do attitude with a winning mindset
  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume, transactional ecosystem
  • Experience selling to regional businesses
  • Ideal if experienced with Salesforce CRM tools, social media marketing and networking
  • General knowledge of the construction process and site services is a plus.
