Job Description
The Department of Social Sciences seeks a full-time philosopher to teach courses in a variety of subjects, including business ethics.
Preference will be given to philosophers who cross disciplinary boundaries in their research and teaching into other social science or humanities disciplines, especially economics, psychology, sociology, history, politics, Caribbean studies, anthropology and / or religion.
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate strong technology and communication skills with a commitment to liberal arts education.
They will perform departmental and university service and be an integral member of the Department of Social Sciences. The candidate is also expected to contribute to the Department's goal of promoting student success and student engagement in general education.

Requirements :
Minimum Qualifications :
- Candidates should have a PhD in Philosophy or a related field (ABDs will be considered with the understanding that the terminal degree will be awarded by the end of the candidate's first year on the job).
- Evidence of scholarly achievement, professional activities and teaching experience is required.
