GeneralPurpose :
The IT Senior Projectmanager implements and monitors a variety of medium to large scaleprojects
working with IT teammembers and the end usercommunity.
PrimaryResponsibilities (EssentialFunctions) :
Manage medium tolarge scale enterprisewide projects mobilizing resources fromdifferent teams
define milestonescreate project plans define project structure monitor projectactivity establish
releaseguidelines controls manage release inventory and project closureactivities.
Implements softwareand enterprise applications that promote staff productivityefficient business
operations andresource usage.
Publish metricsreporting status and dashboards. Organize periodic review meetingswithSenior
management.
Ensure compliance with audit requirements SOX and operationalcontrols.
Develop and obtainapproval and commitment for the project scope objective and relatedtime
schedules.
Develop contingency plans risk mitigation strategies and manageissue logs.
Assist in resolutionof issues and mitigation of individualrisks.
Liaison with otherfunctional / technical teams for all projectactivity.
Assist with selectingmethodology and documentation standards for the projectteam.
Perform other reasonablyrelated tasks as assigned bymanagement.
Basic RequiredQualifications :
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or BusinessAdministration
5 years ofexperience in Project Management in InformationTechnology
Knowledge of ProjectManagement tools and methodologies including Agile Scrum andWaterfall
Up to 20% travel by caror airplane to visit businessunits
Strong project managementability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given pointstrong
relationship buildingskills & communicationskills.
PreferredQualifications :
PMI / PMP and ScrumMaster certification
Experiencewith applications related to transportation and logistics forservicing customers in thefield
ispreferred
Experience with AzureDev ops to manage project user stories andtasks
Experience withExcel
Knowledge of Logisticaltools such as Descartes
Abilityto work with minimal supervision
