Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : Days – 3x12 Hours (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 30 PM)

Schedule : Weekends, holidays, and occasional charge duties required

On-Call : No

Position Overview

This is a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN position at Samaritan Medical Center. Nurses will provide intermediate-level care for acutely ill patients requiring close monitoring and specialized interventions. The position requires strong critical thinking, leadership, and communication skills. Candidates must have prior travel experience and be flexible to work weekends and holidays. Local candidates within 60 miles are not eligible . Previous Samaritan staff must have a minimum 2-year break in employment and be eligible for rehire.

Licensure : Active New York State RN License – Required at submission

Experience :

Travel Experience : Required (minimum 1 completed assignment)

Local Rule : Must reside at least 60 miles away from the facility

Return Staff Policy : Must be gone for 2 years and eligible for rehire
