Responsibilities :
As a Civil Site Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include :
- Managing and overseeing all facets of the construction project from design to completion.
- Developing and implementing project work plans and reviewing as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Conducting site design, stormwater management, storm drainage design, and erosion control tasks.
- Overseeing water & sanitary sewer projects, grading, permitting, and subdivision layout.
- Performing earthwork calculations and utilizing software like AutoCAD and Civil 3D in site development.
- Coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Ensuring project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
- Monitoring project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates, and utilization.
- Identifying resources needed and assigning individual responsibilities.
- Managing day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications :
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 5-10+ years of experience in civil site design and construction.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant software.
- Strong knowledge of stormwater management, storm drainage design, erosion control, water & sanitary sewer, grading, permitting, and subdivision layout.
- Exceptional project management and team leadership skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- A valid professional engineer's license is preferred.
