Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
Job Location : San Francisco, CA 94105 (On Site).
Job Schedule : As needed. Weekdays. Dayshift (7 : 45am- 5pm).
Job Type : Per Diem, contractor
Pay Range : $40 / hr (LPN / LVN).
Full Description :
VitalCheck Wellness is seeking an experienced LVN to work PRN in an outpatient clinic at a global wealth-management firm located in San Francisco, CA 94105 .
This is a great opportunity for someone interested in working with a new model wellness clinic where you will have the ability to be part of the process of building something new.
Currently PRN with the possibility of a FT position starting August 2024.
Responsibilities :
- Discuss and consult health history, diagnosis, and needs with patients.
- Follow-up care coordination and scheduling appointments / referrals.
- Initial point of contact for patients.
- Educate patient on necessary steps for follow up care.
- Referral management including calling insurance companies to confirm coverage.
- Input and upload results data into the computer.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
- Collect Vital signs.
- Perform / collect specimens accurately (phlebotomy, urine, etc.).
Requirements :
- CNA / CMA / LPN or Phlebotomy Certification Required for the state of CA.
- BLS / ACLS OR CPR Certification Required.
- Experience working in clinical setting or hospitality background.
- Understanding of medical terminology.
- Experience as a medical receptionist or medical assistant with call and scheduling experience.
- Phlebotomy experience.
- Customer service oriented.
- Ability to adapt to change.
- Must be proficient with computers, and able to work independently .
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including booster shot).
- Commute to San Francisco, CA 94105.
