Summary :
The Retail Sales Associate will be responsible for selling merchandise and providing exceptional customer service to our clients, while working with terminal management to drive sales
Responsibilities :
- Greet clients and engage them to ascertain their needs and / or wants.
- Based on the clients’ needs and / or wants assist them with finding merchandise
- Recommend additional merchandise or alternatives
- Answer clients’ questions regarding the store and its merchandise
- Maintain product knowledge, as well as knowledge about sales and promotions, and flight changes
- Assist with delivery of merchandise to and from the store
- Maintain security standards with the store to ensure safety of clients, colleagues and merchandise.
- Assist with restocking of merchandise
- Light cleaning of shelves, counters, and tables
- Other duties as assigned by management
Education & Experience :
- High School diploma, GED or High School Equivalence Certificate
- Minimum of one (1) year of previous customer service or selling experience
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills (examples are : active listening, verbal communication, assertiveness)
- Bi-lingual skills preferred, not required (Arabic, Chinese, French, Italian, Korean, Japanese, Russian, Portuguese, Turkish)
Requirements :
- Must be flexible with schedule; Evening, Weekends and Holidays are MANDATORY!
- Must present professional appearance while interacting with clients
- Must be team oriented
- Must participate in semi-annual inventory
- Must pass airport security background check.
Physical Requirements :
- Must be able to lift up to 25lbs
- Must be able to stand and / or walk for eight hours per shift
- Must be able to bend, kneel, and stoop.
