The functions of this role include but are not limited to : Performing the internal audit function for Nucor, which is heavily focused on evaluating and auditing Nucor’s internal controls over financial reporting and compliance with Nucor policies Performing audits of areas such as inventories, revenue recognition, accounting procedures, capital expenditures, accruals, etc.

The successful candidate should be open to relocation for future growth opportunities This position includes travel, up to 30% of the time Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Preferred Qualifications : Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation Prior audit experience with a national public accounting firm No more than 2 years of experience in an internal audit role or relevant accounting experience
