Position : Quality Assurance Technician

PDQ Staffing is a leading staffing agency that matches talented individuals with top-tier employers. We seek Quality Assurance (QA) Technicians for a food produce warehouse in the Grand Prairie area. The QA Technician will play

a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of food products in our warehouse. This position involves monitoring,

inspecting, and testing products to ensure they meet the company's quality standards and comply with regulatory

requirements.

Rate : $22.72 / Hr.

Schedule : 6 am to EOP

Responsibilities :

• Conduct routine inspections and quality checks on incoming and outgoing products.
• Monitor and document quality control processes and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
• Perform regular audits of production processes to ensure adherence to company standards.
• Identify and report any quality issues or deviations from standards.
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, tests, and audits.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness of the warehouse and equipment.
• Participate in training programs to stay updated on quality assurance best practices and regulations.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in food science, quality assurance, or a related field is a plus.
• Previous experience in quality assurance, preferably in the food industry.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in using quality inspection tools and equipment.
• Basic computer skills, including knowledge of MS Office Suite.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to specific weight, e.g., 50 lbs. .
