WAB Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer with 6-10 years of experience in Electrical power transformers. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and experience in Transformer design from conceptualization to production.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Electrical Engineer with 6 - 10 years of experience in Electrical power transformers
• Experience in Transformer design from conceptualization to production
• Experience in Custom power transformers tailored to specific voltage, power, and application needs
• Consulting services for design verification, specification writing, and factory quality control
• Custom manufacturing capabilities with engineering support, prototyping, and testing
• Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, NX, SolidWorks, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with industry standards such as IEEE, IEC, ANSI.
• Prepare and maintain detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and 3D models using CAD tools.
• Optimize transformer designs for efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Provide technical support during manufacturing, assembly, and testing phases.
• Participate in design reviews and propose improvements for product quality and reliability.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for design-related issues.
• Maintain documentation and ensure design records are accurate and up to date.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Exposure to manufacturing processes for transformer components.
• Knowledge of material selection for windings, insulation, and busbars.
• Ability to work in cross-functional and global teams.
