About The Position
Job Title : Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Specialty : Diagnostic Imaging Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Day Shift Guaranteed Hours : 40 Hours Per Week Experience : Minimum of relevant experience required License : Graduated from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program Certifications : - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Nuclear Medicine OR Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) - American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification Must-Have : - Nuclear Medicine and PET expertise- Ability to meet performance expectations Job Description : Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures and related functions.
- Operate imaging equipment including PET systems.- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain high standards of patient care.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals.- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide exceptional diagnostic services.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using the Cerner Electronic Medical Records system.- Work effectively in a trauma level 2 setting with a bed capacity of 150-500.
- Provide holiday coverage as needed.- Maintain compliance with health regulations and organizational policies.- Ability to adapt quickly and efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
