About The Position
Job Title : MRI Technologist Job Specialty : Radiology Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Monday - Thursday, 07 : 30 AM - 05 : 00 PM (10-hour shifts) Guaranteed Hours : Not Specified Experience : Minimum 2 years License : ARRT with MRI Certifications : ARRT-MRI, BLS Must-Have : ARRT Certification, Advanced BLS skills Job Description : Perform MRI procedures with an emphasis on patient safety and quality imaging.
- Utilize GE MRI equipment for various procedures.- Document patient details and procedure information in Meditech Expanse and PACS systems.
- Schedule includes four 10-hour days per week with a 30-minute lunch. No weekends or on-call duties.- Ensure compliance with the dress code : scrubs (hospital-provided or personal) and no open-toed shoes.
- Assist in maintaining a patient ratio of 1 : 2.- Collaborate with unit secretaries and other techs daily.- Adhere to unit-specific guidelines and policies.
- Participate in a team that has achieved ACR certification and Silver Stroke Award recognition.- Be open to potential additional hours to meet patient care and physician requirements.
- Vacation requests must be pre-approved before contract agreement.This role offers the opportunity to work with new equipment and technology alongside a seasoned and experienced staff.
