Overview

McMillen, Inc is seeking a BIM Tech III to join our growing team as a Revit Team Member. The Revit Team Member will work with our CAD / BIM / VDC team to advance water resource projects. This role requires creative design within a fast-paced water resources engineering environment, with frequent coordination and communication with design engineers to solve problems, improve processes, and complete projects on time.

Ideal candidates have substantial experience with Revit and BIM360 / ACC, and understand the water resource industry, including Fish Hatcheries, Hydroelectric Power, and Pump Storage. Preferred locations are Boise, ID; Kirkland, WA; Spokane, WA; Denver, CO; or Portland, OR.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage Revit projects and coordinate with project teams.
Set up Revit projects utilizing multiple models, files and team members.
Manage Cloud projects.
Create and manage Revit content, views, sheets, and schedules in accordance with standards and desired outcomes.
Maintain knowledge of the Structural discipline.
actively participate in projects by providing support through all phases of design and delivery.
Collaborate with Revit, Inventor and Civil 3D within a master model across multiple disciplines.
Manage multiple assignments, stay highly organized, and produce high-quality work at a fast pace.
Experience with water treatment plants, pump stations, fish hatcheries, and hydropower facilities or similar Structural projects is preferred.

Qualifications

Proficiency with Autodesk Revit is required.

Proficiency in steel modeling, concrete modeling, and Rebar modeling.

Proficiency with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).

Proficiency with Navisworks and 3D coordination.

Proficiency with AutoCAD.

Preferred Skills

Technical or vocational program focused on design and drafting; AA / AS preferred.

10 years of experience as a multi-discipline designer is preferred.

Experience with Structural Concrete / 3D Rebar Design, Structural Steel Design, and Connections in Revit.

Experience with Autodesk Vault is a plus.

Knowledge of Dynamo or Python for Revit.

Knowledge of Inventor or similar software is a plus.

Experience in water resources is a plus.

Strong technical writing and professional communication skills.

MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Ability to collaborate productively with multidisciplinary teams on multiple concurrent projects.

Compensation Package

Pay Range : $44 hr – $64 hr (DOE).
