The Role :

We seek an experienced, strategic, and highly collaborative product leader with great communication skills to build and help members maximize the value of SoFi products through our financial marketplace.

This role is central to the success of SoFi's overall mission to help our members get their money right and achieve financial independence.

You will have an opportunity to deliver a compelling best-in-class marketplace that allows SoFi to serve consumers at every point of their journey, as well as expand into meeting the financial needs of small-medium-business owners.

You will identify opportunities to bring our financial services products together for our members, set goals, define the member experiences, and deliver zero-to-one product initiatives that accelerate our members' financial success.

This role is inherently cross-functional with high ownership and agency; you will work closely with business units, engineering, design, data science, marketing, operations, finance, risk, legal, compliance, and executive teams to set business objectives, define product strategy, prioritize features, secure resources, and execute.

You'll play the critical role of driving the business while bridging the technical and business worlds to drive profitable business growth while managing risk.

What you'll do :

  • Own and define the vision, strategy, and product roadmap for SoFi's financial marketplace, with a strong expertise on small-medium-businesses.
  • Create and evangelize a product vision and own a multi-year product roadmap.
  • Communicate the vision, strategy, execution plan, and customer impact / learnings to all stakeholders including the highest levels of leadership in the company
  • Collaborate closely with the full cross-functional team (e.g., business, marketing, product, design, engineering, data science, compliance, risk, finance, and operations) for your line of business & initiatives, to help execute the strategic vision.
  • Mentor more junior PMs within the team to elevate their skillsets with industry best-practices.

What you'll need :

  • 7+ years of product management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • A proactive, results-oriented approach to your work.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to grasp complex user scenarios, technical concepts, and business drivers to make well-informed decisions.
  • Keen attention to detail and proficiency in distilling complex issues.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with and manage cross-functional groups of stakeholders.
  • Ability to co-drive the P&L with your cross functional leadership team.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, delivering zero-to-one products.

Compensation and Benefits

The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and location.
