Sr Java / Spring Cloud Developer - Dallas

We are looking for a passionate, senior level full stack developer to support our agile team in developing enterprise applications.

The candidate would be responsible for the development, maintenance and support of applications developed for the business unit.

This position offers the opportunity to participate in the entire software development lifecycle and use programming and object-oriented skills, methodologies, and tools to plan, analyze, design, construct and test solutions.

Qualifications :

• Must have a degree in Computer Science / Engineering; advanced degree preferred; significant relevant work experience will be considered.
• Must have 5+ years of experience in object-oriented software development and maintenance using Java and Java EE.
• 4+ years of experience with Web Services
• 3+ years of experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud
• 2+ years of building rich web-based applications using ExtJS, Angular, etc.
• Experience in designing / developing applications with Microservices
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• IBM Cloud, CloudFoundry, knowledge a plus.
• Experience with Oracle, Postgres, and MongoDB databases
• Experience with DevOps tool chain - Git, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle
• Experience writing automated test cases using Junit
• Knowledge or hands-on software development experience using Java design patterns is preferred.
• Must work well in a team environment
• Team player, self-starter, motivated individual
• Work closely with Project Manager, Team lead and Tech lead to ensure on-time, quality delivery
• Participate in full software development lifecycle.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Nice to have experience (in priority order) : - Rally, Development experience with an agile, iterative, architecture centric, test driven development methodology
• May require occasional off-hours on-call support
