Responsibilities :
- Identify legal tax savings and recommend ways to improve profits
- Advise management about the impact of tax liabilities and corporate strategies or new tax laws
- Prepare tax schedules, returns, payments, reports and maintain the Company’s tax database
- Support in building, analyzing, and documenting financial reporting process improvements and enhancements
- Prepare quarterly journal entries
- Prepare monthly divisional and consolidated P&L financial statements
- Compile financial information and documents for audit and tax processes
- Track spending for third-party participation reports
- Maintain strong internal controls, manage audits, and provide necessary documentation to external auditors
- Ensure preparation of financial reports and analyses. Generate financial statements and reports on financial position to management.
- Manage & oversee tax compliance tasks (Income tax and indirect taxes)
- Develop tax savings strategy and / or tax-efficient corporate structure
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis and handle various projects as needed
Experience & Skills :
- BA / BS in Accounting, Finance or equivalent. CPA is a plus
- 3-7 years experience in Accounting or Finance
- Sound technical accounting skills and GAAP proficiency
- Strong analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills and the ability to be adaptable in a growing organization
- Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Bilingual in Korean highly preferred but not a must
