Job Title : Director of Nursing (DON)

Position Overview : We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing staff and uphold our commitment to excellence in patient care.
The DON will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of nursing practice within our facility.
Duties :
- Supervise all nursing staff in the facility.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures.
- Oversee the hiring and continued employment of nursing staff.
- Ensure adequate nursing staff levels and that staff skills remain current.
- Monitor and oversee nursing employee conduct.
- Stay informed about incidents occurring within the facility.
- Assess the health needs of each resident and ensure appropriate care is provided.
Requirements :
- Current State RN license required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in long-term care.
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Evidence of strong supervision and leadership skills.
