GLC On-The-Go is seeking a travel nurse RN Psychiatric for a travel nursing job in Bayard, Iowa. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Psychiatric Discipline : RN Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Psych RN needed at Gregory Recovery Center 601 2nd St, Bayard, IA Free CPI taken during orientation Small 50 bed facility Drug and Alcohol Recovery Patients are voluntary / no restraints 1st time travel friendly Shift : 3x12s Night 7p-7a Start Date : 10 / 6 for 13 weeks Unit / Facilty Details : 1 year min of recent acute psych / detox exp; SNF / Home Health experience will not be considered. Recovery Center for adults (18 years and older) for Inpatient Substance Abuse / Detox Ratio 1 : 7 max; ancillary staff such as RNs, BHT’s, etc…on same units Certs : BLS AHA & the facility will provide something similar to CPI, can be taken for free during NEO Must be able to do CIWAs and COWs (this is a basic opioid withdraw symptoms scale, paper form, please see attached) EMR : HCS - electronic Dress Code : scrubs, any color Orientation is 2-3 days of 12 hour shifts training until comfortable.
