We have 3 new openings : 2 for Learning & Talent and 1 for Talent Acquisition.
The Chevron HR People Analytics team equips business and HR leaders with key HR workforce insights from people data that are relevant and proactive.

Responsibilities
- Engage with customers and stakeholders to define business questions, needs, and opportunities.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis and prototype development to test feasibility and value.
- Apply data science techniques to analyze and model people data and generate insights and predictions.
- Use digital technology and innovation to develop and deploy advanced analytics features.
- Collaborate with HR, Legal, and Data Privacy to ensure data governance, security, confidentiality, and integrity.
- Perform data science studies to measure and report workforce and organizational capability to HR and Executive Leadership.
- Create and deliver custom analysis and dashboards to executive-level audiences.
- Lead strategic studies to produce insights, measure effectiveness, and monitor People Strategy programs.
- Conduct research and experiments to explore new methods and best practices in people analytics.
- Use data visualization skills to present complex data and analysis in a clear and actionable way.
- Create strong stakeholder and customer engagement and partnership to deliver key people data insights.
- Support Chevron’s Skills Strategy.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the field of people analytics. Continuously seek opportunities to improve data quality, methodologies, and processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Data Science, Management Information Systems, or related degree.
- 5 or more years of demonstrated experience with HR People Analytics, Workforce Intelligence, or Learning and Talent analytics preferably in corporate HR setting.
- Demonstrated depth in advanced analytics / data science technologies.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google cloud and tools in its ecosystem with proficiency in Python or R.
- Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and understandable manner both orally and in writing.
- Strong consultative skills and HR business acumen.
- Strong data set creation skills including the ability to combine and clean large data sets.
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education or background in Industrial-Organizational Psychology or similar.
- Knowledge of Generative AI applicability to HR, Employee Experience or People Analytics use cases.
In Support Of The Learning And Talent Function
- Develop, implement, and manage enterprise-wide measurement strategy and align insights across the employee lifecycle.
- Apply data science methods and tools to evaluate learning and talent programs.
- Build models and dashboards to measure the impact and effectiveness of learning and talent initiatives.
- Conduct research and measure learning programs effectiveness against industry benchmarks.
In Support Of The Talent Acquisition Function
- Collect, clean, and analyze various sources of talent data providing insights on the effectiveness of talent acquisition programs.
- Apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to build models and dashboards that inform talent acquisition strategies and decisions.
- Conduct research and measure talent acquisition programs effectiveness against industry benchmarks.

- The anticipated salary range for this position is $128,400 $256,300.
