About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : 2 years required License : Valid WI License required Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have : Pediatric experience required Job Description : Work in a variable acuity 20-bed unit- Care for ICU, IMC, and medical-surgical patients based on acuity needs- Adhere to ratio guidelines : ICU 1 : 1-3, IMC 1 : 4, med-surg 1 : 5-6, subject to change based on patient acuity- Weekend (EOW) and holiday (EOH) work required- Call requirements applicable only for low census or if picking up shifts- Float requirements to task only for ED / UC or PACU without patient assignments during low census- Previous Cerner experience preferred- Must complete all required certifications prior to start- Compliance with mandatory flu vaccine, with exemptions for medical / religious reasons- Orientation includes completion of modules, up to 8 hours- Flexible with schedule to complete compliance requirements within designated timeframes
