Under the supervision of the Program Director, this position provides administrative support to the Transitional Age Youth Housing Programs, including :

  • Maintaining a welcoming and organized Resource Center to support the housing needs of TAY
  • Co-managing youth center services with the Resource Center Coordinator
  • Supervising the Resource Center Coordinator
  • Training new staff on center and office procedures and policies
  • Supporting the Program Director and Housing Director with administrative and contract compliance needs
  • Accounting tasks and bookkeeping duties as assigned, including co-managing program finances
  • Grant application and management support
  • Providing administrative support to program staff
  • Performing job duties efficiently, requiring multi-tasking and organization

You are an excellent fit for this opportunity if you have :

  • A passion for working with young adults
  • The ability to be self-directed and to work as part of a team
  • Strong computer skills including Google Office Suite, Microsoft Office, and comfort using a variety of platforms
  • A commitment to embody TLC’s mission and values
  • Two plus years of experience in an office management position
  • Experience in all aspects of administrative and accounting duties
  • CA driver’s license and capacity to use own vehicle for company travel is required (mileage compensation provided)
  • The ability to pass a pre-employment background check, physical exam, TB test, and drug screen
