Certified School Nurse (CSN)
Location : Glendale, California
Position : Full-Time Certified School Nurse (CSN)
Credentials : Must hold an active Certified School Nurse Credential or Waiver
Responsibilities :
- Provide on-site support for a specialized program of 30 students with medical needs
- Supervise and train 5-10 Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) who support students' medical needs on campus
- Oversee case management and ensure pliance with health regulations and protocols
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized health plans for students
- Maintain accurate and updated health records for all students in the program
- Provide direct nursing care and emergency medical support as needed
Requirements :
- Active Certified School Nurse Credential or Waiver
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Experience working in a school or educational setting preferred
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
