Deputy Chief of Leadership
JOB SUMMARY
The Deputy Chief of Leadership Development reports directly to the Chief Leadership Development Officer and is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing teams that lead comprehensive leadership development programs that align with district priorities.
This role is pivotal in shaping the district’s culture, building leadership capacity, promoting talent development, and driving long-term success.
Responsibilities include establishing clear systems for training and development, ensuring alignment between district core values and leadership expectations, and overseeing office operations such as budgeting, procurement, human resources, and communications.
This ensures that robust systems and structures support the leadership development initiatives across the organization.
EDUCATION
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Master’s degree in education leadership, or related field preferred
WORK EXPERIENCE
Engaged in non-standardized and varied tasks that involve complex variables, requiring considerable time for planning, evaluating intricate solutions, and negotiating outcomes.
Frequently utilized strong analytical skills and inductive thinking to develop innovative approaches to situations where existing solutions have proven inadequate.
Experience in proposing innovative solutions to problems, enhancing existing methods, procedures, and services, and generating innovative ideas.
Interacts regularly with campus leadership and executive leaders, ensuring effective communication and alignment with organizational goals.
