Frontera Health is developing a tech-enabled platform to provide pediatric therapies for rural families in need. Our platform leverages AI / ML to establish the foundational video-based data model for early intervention and developmental disorders.

By working with parents and caregivers in rural communities, we aim to increase access to care, improve health equity, and deliver personalized treatment for better outcomes.

The Role

We're seeking a passionate and talented Product Designer to join our growing team. You'll play a vital role in shaping the user experience across our suite of products, from web applications to marketing materials.

This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of pediatric healthcare innovation, directly impacting the lives of children and families.

Responsibilities :

  • Product Design : Ideate, prototype, design, and iterate on user interfaces for various products
  • Marketing Materials : Assist with the design of sales and marketing collateral (business cards, flyers, websites)
  • Design System : Contribute to the development and maintenance of our design system, ensuring consistency and efficiency across all products.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand user needs and translate them into exceptional designs.
  • User Research : Conduct user research activities (e.g., user interviews, usability testing) to inform design decisions.
  • Brand Identity : Contribute to the establishment and ongoing development of Frontera Health's brand identity, including brand guidelines and visual language.

Qualifications :

  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Designer or similar role.
  • Preferred experience working in an early-stage startup environment.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
  • Experience with UX / UI design tools (Figma, Sketch, etc.) and prototyping tools (e.g., InVision, Figma prototyping).
  • Familiarity with web development principles (HTML, CSS) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for creating user-friendly and visually appealing designs.
  • Bonus points for experience in the healthcare industry and / or a passion for pediatric care.

We have determined a salary range for this position that takes into account several factors including experience, knowledge, education, skills, and abilities.

Please note that the salary information is a general guideline and the exact salary will be determined based on the individual's qualifications and experience, with consideration given to the factors listed above.
