Seeking qualified nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join Surgical Services team for an inpatient opportunity.
Responsibilities include :
- Managing patient admissions and consults and boarding surgical cases for general surgery, trauma surgery (excluding Level I Trauma), and urology.
- Hospital-wide first call for all IP surgical services, to include general surgery, trauma (excluding ICU), orthopedics, urology, and colorectal surgery.
- This is a nighttime schedule, 12 hours per shift, 7 days on / 7 days off.
- There is no call requirement at this time. Holidays that fall within scheduled workdays are required.
Qualified candidates will be a Graduate of accredited CRNP or PA program, valid / current CPR / ACLS certification. ATLS Certification must be completed by the end of orientation.
One year of experience preferred.
Ideal candidate experienced in chest tube placement, but training is available.
