Job Posting Title : Faculty, Dance

Job Description Summary :

The Dance Faculty supports learning in studio, classroom, and online modalities. Responsible to prepare and deliver coursework in engaging, innovative, and discipline-appropriate ways that reflect a commitment to student success and creating an environment that promotes belonging for all. Classes taught will include studio-based instruction as well as lecture-based courses : Dance Appreciation and / or World Dance. Course instruction for this position takes place in person at various times of the day and evening. This position starts in August, 2026.

Job Description :

The Austin Community College Dance Department is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Dance (NASD). The department serves dance majors seeking an Associate Degree and / or transfer, high school dual credit students, lifelong learners, and non dance majors fulfilling a core curriculum requirement. The ACC Dance department achieves and maintains high standards, enabling students to express themselves through the technical and theoretical study, creation, performance, production, and wellness applications of dance.
