Primary Care at Greenville is located inside the Eugene du Pont Preventive Medicine & Rehabilitation Institute at 3506 Kennett Pike, 2nd Floor in Wilmington, Delaware.

As a medical assistant, you will be responsible for assisting providers in the examination and treatment of patients with on-site and virtual appointments.
You will be expected to deliver quality patient care and perform other clinical and clerical duties within the practice as assigned.
Office Hours :
- Monday through Friday from 7am to 5pm
- Potential work from home capabilities.

Duties / Responsibilities :
As a medical assistant you will be involved with greeting and supporting patients both virtually and on-site within the practice, preparing them for virtual visits, performing point of care testing, injections, medication administration, and EKGs, assisting clinicians with examinations and procedures, preparing exam / treatment rooms with necessary supplies and equipment, completing patient-specific paperwork, ensuring EMR is up-to-date, handling patient call backs, sterilizing medical equipment, handling prior authorizations, referrals, and medical refills, scheduling tests, procedures, and surgeries, performing quality control on POCT equipment, providing documentation assistance, performing clerical duties, troubleshooting patient issues with video visits, and supporting patients in joining ChristianaCare's Patient Portal.

Education Requirements :
- High School Graduate or GED required.
- A graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
