Role & Responsibility
- Performs direct nursing patient care including patient assessments / triage, immunizations and other nursing clinical duties that include assessment, and clinical management.
- Assists clinicians during examinations as needed.
- Assist with supervision of clinical nursing services including laboratory functions, clinical supervision of MAs
- Provides feedback, mentors staff, and helps contribute to staff's professional development.
- Collaborate with applicable parties to effectively manage patient and back-office flow throughout the clinic; take action as necessary to maintain smooth patient flow and informs clinicians regarding issues affecting the ability to deliver proper patient care.
Education & Experience
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a valid, current CA Registered Nurse license to practice.
- Experience with electronic medical records required.
- Knowledge of direct outpatient care and prior experience in a clinic setting is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions sufficient to establish a safe work environment.
