IT Business Analyst
Join an existing team as the 1st IT Business Analyst at a profitable, rapidly growing Tech startup!
You will help bridge the gap between the Technical & Business teams and will be tasked with gathering business requirements and the creation of user stories, wireframes, and workflows.
You will be responsible for ensuring the quality & reliability of our web apps, working closely with the Agile Software Development team and Product Owner to understand requirements, refine user stories, and create effective test cases.
You will play a crucial role in identifying software defects, improving test coverage, and ensuring that our applications meet the highest standards of quality.
You will also investigate the existing system and assess whether the current platform is adequate to handle growth (10x scale), or if a greenfield effort is necessary.
This is a direct hire opportunity based in Chamblee, GA .
This hybrid r ole offers telecommuting 2x / week (Tues. / Fri.) & every other Wed.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Work with the Product Owner and stakeholders to gather & document business requirements
- Translate business needs into detailed Jira stories and acceptance criteria
- Create wireframes & workflows to visualize project requirements / solutions
- Work with the Development team to ensure requirements are clearly understood
- Lead UAT efforts
- Lead communications between IT & the Business to ensure all are on the same page
- Understand & document current business processes & areas for improvements
- Participate in Sprint Planning, Reviews, & Retrospectives
REQUIRED SKILLS :
- 5+ years as a BA in an Agile / Scrum environment
- 2+ years of experience working for a Software company
- Experience translating needs into Jira stories
- Experience creating wireframes & workflows
- Experience leading UAT test efforts
- Experience documenting, assessing, & improving business processes
- Great communication skills

Experience working in a cloud environment
