Nice-Pak Products, Inc. (NP) is the global developer, manufacturer and marketer of pre-moistened wipes for the consumer market, specializing in personal care, hygiene, household cleaning and disinfection products.
We're currently looking for a Warehouse Supervisor, Day Shift - 6am-6pm in our Plainfield, IN location.
POSITION PURPOSE :
This position has responsibility for carrying out distribution activities and operations in accordance with Nice-Pak guidelines, customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
This position tracks associate productivity, attendance, performance reviews and safety objectives. Overall housekeeping and maintaining a safe work environment are also key requirements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES :
DATA ENTRY & INTEGRITY :
- Supervisor must maintain shipping / receiving accuracy metrics as well as insuring physical inventory is recorded in the WMS with the correct item, lot and quantity.
- Maintains Shipping / Receiving load schedule adherence.
- Shipping / Receiving paperwork must be accurate and reconciled daily.
- Productivity, attendance, inventory and training records and documentation must be 100% maintained.
- Complete performance reviews per schedule set in NP policy.
- Follows cGMP guidelines when applicable.
REPORTING & ANALYSIS :
- Associate productivity must be tracked, accurate and communicated to the associate as well as the management team on a daily and weekly basis.
- Responsible for trending and reporting to Customer Service, Procurement and Transportation all issues or concerns as they are discovered.
- Supervisor will analyze warehouse capacity for shipping / receiving and storage daily and make adjustments as needed to meet business needs.
- Analyze headcount vs capacity to manage costs daily.
- Reports associate performance to top management.
- Reconciles inventory of warehouse supplies and communicates needs as need to warehouse admin.
- Required to maintain and report MHE fleet hours of use, maintenance requests to applicable vendors as needed.
CLIENT ENGAGEMENT :
- Maintain positive relationships with direct reports, parallel departments, customers, suppliers and vendors.
- Responsible for maintaining a positive work environment and fostering creative concepts.
TECHNICAL EXPERTISE :
Maintains a working knowledge of WMS, ERP, LMS and other systems associated with distribution operations to also include timekeeping and HR related software.
SPECIAL PROJECTS :
- Engage in continuous improvement projects annually.
- Complete projects as assigned by Manager / Director of Distribution and Warehousing.
Requirements
EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION :
BA, BS Degree in supply chain / distribution or equivalent experience preferred.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE :
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, WMS, LMS.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
3-5 years experience leading / supervising work teams in a distribution / warehousing environment.
