Account Executive - LTL Sales

Critical Job Functions :

  • Develop territory growth strategy to include growth within existing customers and new prospects
  • Daily travel throughout assigned territory to conduct customer meetings
  • Negotiate pricing with customers and work collaboratively with pricing department to finalize
  • Maintain contact with key accounts and new customers to ensure we are exceeding service levels and high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor customer trends and operating performance, identify opportunities, develop strategy and proactively communicate with service center personnel and customer
  • Achieve territory sales targets to include revenue growth, operating performance and key activity metrics
  • Ensure all key customer information is captured in CRM tool to include all customer contacts, current level of business and account strategy

Job Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of related work experience
  • 2+ years in B2B (Business to Business) sales or equivalent
  • Competitive nature with a hunter mentality and a strong desire to win
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and CRM system
  • Local travel 80% with some flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
