The is a senior healthcareexecutive will be responsible for overseeing the development andimplementation of programs to improve patients safety and clinicaloutcomes.

This is an onsite position with the flexibility of workinghome one day aweek.

  • Directingclinical quality and patient safety management programs includingbudgeting annual evaluations and revisions consultation serviceseducation initiatives outcome measurement and improvementstrategies related to clinical accreditation regulatory andlicensing (AR&L) risk management and infection preventionand control.
  • Establishing standardsfor evaluating designing developing and implementing evidencebasedguidelines principles and programs to reduce clinical practicevariation optimize patient outcomes and ensure organizationalcompliance.
  • Overseeing thecollection analysis reporting and presentation of clinical data toidentify trends outliers and areas for improvement informing bothshort and longterm strategy and projectgoals.
  • Developing strategies foreducational initiatives related to quality improvement activitiesregulatory requirements and translating external demands intoprogram goals.
  • Serving as an expertresource on monitoring reporting and developing mitigation plansfor occurrences that may lead to medical centerliability.
  • Supporting the medicalcenters continuous survey readiness program to maintain regulatorycompliance.
  • Developing collaborativerelationships with government and regulatory agencies as well asotherorganizations.

  • Soliciting and acting onperformance feedback driving collaboration to set goals andproviding open feedback and coaching to foster performanceimprovement.
  • Demonstratingcontinuous learning overseeing the recruitment selection anddevelopment of talent and ensuring performance managementguidelines and expectations align with businessneeds.
  • Staying updated with bestpractices processes benchmarks and industry trends sharing thisknowledge within and acrossteams.
  • Motivating and empoweringteams maintaining a highly skilled and engaged workforce byaligning resource plans with businessobjectives.
  • Providing guidance fordifficult decisions and creating opportunities for expandeddecisionmaking andimpact.
  • Overseeing the operation ofmultiple units within a department by identifying member andoperational needs managing work assignments translating businessstrategy into actionable business requirements and ensuringproducts and services meet memberexpectations.
  • Gainingcrossfunctional support for business plans and priorities assumingresponsibility for decisionmaking setting standards measuringprogress and resolving escalatedissues.
  • Communicating goals andobjectives analyzing resources costs and forecasts andincorporating them into business plans prioritizing anddistributing resources removing obstacles that impact performanceguiding performance and developing contingencyplans.
  • Directing data collection andanalyses to support quality improvement reporting overseeingstatistical analysis for evaluations and special projects definingstandards for integrating multiple utilization data reportingsystems and presenting quality improvement metric reports to seniorand executive management.
  • Directingquality improvement and risk management efforts defining standardsfor corrective action plans ensuring compliance with internal andexternal regulations conducting root cause analyses and escalatinghighrisk issues.
  • Establishingstandards for quality improvement performance metrics at regionaland organizational levels consulting with senior management to setperformance standards and monitoring the delivery of measurableresults aligned with strategicobjectives.
  • Overseeing KPwidequality improvement initiatives implementing new technology methodsand tools serving as a technical advisor on datadriven improvementprinciples and consulting with stakeholders to define consistentquality improvementstrategies.
  • Serving as a subjectmatter expert on quality improvement processes and regulationsproviding consultation on policy interpretation and implementationengaging with committees and initiatives and advising on complianceand policy changes.
  • Promotingcontinuous learning through quality performance review processesdefining standards for utilization and performance reviewspresenting performance reports and developing training programsrelated to process improvement for quality improvementprograms.

Requirements

MinimumQualifications :

  • Minimumtwo (2) years of experience managing operational or projectbudgets.
  • Minimum five (5) years ofexperience in a leadership role with directreports.
  • Minimum two (2) years ofexperience with databases and spreadsheets or continuous qualityimprovement (CQI) tools.
  • Minimumseven (7) years of experience in clinical setting health careadministration or a directly relatedfield.
  • Bachelors degree in BusinessAdministration Health Care Administration Nursing Public Health orrelated field AND Minimum eight (8) years of experience in heathcare quality assurance / improvement or directly related field ORMinimum eleven (11) years of experience in heath care qualityassurance / improvement or a directly relatedfield.
  • Professional HealthcareQuality Certificate within 24 months of hire OR Professional inPatient Safety Certificate within 24 months of hire OR Professionalin Healthcare Risk Management Certificate within 24 months ofhire
