FieldApplication Specialist withHammerHead :

The Application Specialistreports to the Manager, Application Specialists and is responsiblefor facilitating training and practicums, as well as providingadvanced technical support for HammerHead equipment applications.

This includes new equipment startups, pilot programs, rentalequipment technical support, and above-ground live demonstrations.

This position contributes to our high level of customer support byacting as a trusted advisor and conducting activities with thehighest degree of integrity, efficiency, and professionalism.

WhatWill You Do?

Travelto multiple job / construction sites throughout the year via air andhighways.

Facilitatecustomer training using highly specialized industry expertise andprinciples of adult learningtheory.

Support sales byconducting pilot programs, providing technical support for rentalequipment, and performing live above-ground demonstrations forprospectivecustomers.

Assess traineesusing a standardized rubric for certificationpurposes.

Maintain a highlevel of product knowledge of the HammerHead Trenchless productlines.

Act as subject matterexpert for the development of training curriculum, testing, andmaterials.

Test products inthe field and at the mainfacility.

Provide regularfeedback to product management from customers regarding currentissues and futureneeds.

Participate inregional and national tradeshows.

Maintain budgetedexpense levels.

Other dutiesand assignments asdirected.

WorkEnvironment :

Constructionjob site environment the majority of the time. This environmentincludes physical hazards such as utilities (typically gas,electric, and water lines), powered vehicle and pedestrian traffic,sharp objects, and moving machinery.

Outdoor weather andconstruction site conditions such as open excavations, unimprovedland, incomplete structures,etc.

Extensive use of thetelephone and emailcommunications.

Rapidlychanging demands, schedules, anddeadlines.

Working withhazardous materials, including fuels, lubricants, fluids, andbatteries.

Air and highwaytravel up to 75% of thetime.

Some travel onweekends to ensure timely arrival at customer sites, travel onshort notice.

Normal minimumwork hours are 7 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm Monday throughFriday.

Additionalhours / days as required to support customers asdirected.

WhatDo You Need?

HighSchool diplomarequired.

Valid US driver'slicense required.

Minimum oftwo (2) years’ experience in the trenchless industry ispreferred.

Demonstratedrecord of working in close collaborative teamenvironment.

Basic knowledgeof Microsoft Word and PowerPoint orequivalent.

Resultsoriented, hands-on approach to customer support andtraining.

Ability to mentorand coach customers on bestpractices.

Criticalreasoning skills and ability to listen and acquire criticalinformation.

Team orientedpersona who embodies the essence of we over me.

Confident while at thesame time having the ability to be sincerely approachable andpersonable.

Self-starterwith the self-discipline to schedule and complete tasks withoutdirectsupervision.

Tier2

Minimum fiveyears of experience in theindustry.

OR minimum three years of experience in the industry plus minimum oneyear of experience as a trainer, project manager, projectsupervisor or crewleader.

Tier3

Minimum ten yearsof experience in theindustry.

OR minimum eight years of experience in the industry plus minimumthree years of experience as a trainer, project manager, projectsupervisor or crewleader.
