Job Description :
- Implement components of patient care under the guidance of a Physical Therapist.
- Obtain data related to the treatments provided.
- Collaborate with the Physical Therapist to modify care as necessary.
- Assist in the treatment of individuals of all ages, from newborns to elderly.
- Help patients stretch and exercise certain muscle groups.
- Read and follow instructions from the Physical Therapist.
- Work directly with the Physical Therapist to assist patients.
- Educate families on the best at-home techniques for patient care.
- Maintain a clean and organized physical therapy environment.
- Assist in moving patients from wheelchairs or walkers to the therapy area.
- Complete administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing paperwork.
- Teach patients techniques such as balance training.
